20th September 2008: SSJ/WKA Blacbelt Tests with Sensei Lee Hasdell. Six senior members of the SSJ Studio took part in the official Black Belt Test.  All passed with over 80% scores, which included Teaching Skills, Presentation, Techniques, Fitness, Knockdown Kumite, Kickboxing, Padwork and Board Breaking.

New Black Belts are Fraser Opie, Lemar Morgan, Alan Jackson, Chantelle Cameron, Lee Wooding and Ben Abbott.

 Chantelle Cameron (SSJ) wins the IKF World Classic in Florida USA.

Friday 18th January 2008:

K1 Star Gary 'Smiler' Turners visits the SSJ Studio to train with Lee Hasdell, Roman Webber, Darren Ward and Kevin Porter. Two hours of intense Kickboxing and MMA.  The SSJ Team would like to wish Gary all the best in his up and coming matches.

Saturday 8th December 2007:

 AKA/IKF Kickboxing Event in Birmingham UK, featured 8 SSJ Kickboxers - Jon Stephenson, Alex Twisleton, Alan Jackson, Lee Wooding, Lee Worster, Fraser Opie, Mark Pinner & Chantelle Cameron.

Chantelle Cameron (SSJ Studio) is the new AKA Kickboxing British Middleweight Champion after defeating Kirsty Lund from Widnes in round 1 by TKO (out-class rule).
